IGNU UPDATES:

Wiring:

 

Starter solenoid and main power fuse moved aft to battery box

Battery access panel on right side to charge or boost

Power shutoff forward of rear seat

Positive and ground buses and all circuits fused (B and C blade)

Common ground bus to frame

Solid wires removed

Switches replaced

12 V receptacle for GPS in panel

Intercom wired direct not thru plug in receptacle

Capacitor added

Regulator and breaker moved to behind firewall and wired      

         according to Rotax diagram.

Corrected position of fuse that was on regulator sense line

Accessible panel holding regulator, breaker, capacitor and buses

Charge indicator lamp

Tray for battery below baggage compartment (battery not moved)

Re-positioned gascolator to allow electrical panel at rear seat.

 

Temp control:

 

Coolant thermostat added: full bypass Motorad

Cabin heat rad with fresh air inlet (needs shutoff valve control)

No additional heater lines in cabin

 

Replaced oil cooler with larger S style using 10/32 through bolts and lengthened main mounting bracket

Installed heat shield under oil cooler above exhaust stack (less clearance with larger cooler.

 

Oil thermostat added (Thermostasis)

Heat shields on lower exhaust pipes, under carbs, top and front of        

    muffler, between exhausts and motor mount.

 

Quick disconnects on brake lines.

 

AoA instrument added

Lowrance 7000 GPS added

 

Provision for easier removal of boot cowl/instrument panel mount to facilitate access to instruments, wiring and firewall.

Jury strut aft brace to wing added

 

2nd cabin vent added
